I have been using Midwest Industries handguards on my AR-15/10s for years.
The SIG nut does get some marks on it, but I do not plan to use it again. I used the redneck method, good old pipe wrench… Just go slow & be careful. Love this productįYI: For people with a SIG M400 TREAD this MI handguard works great!! The only issue is taking off the SIG factory barrel nut. Easy to install and everything locked up tight and no issues at all. Well worth the money and I highly recommend them to anyoneįit and quality were great. I like the way these handguards feel on rifles. Its almost not noticeable, Midwest industries customers service is wonderful and if i would have reached out i know they would have made it right but i would probably end up scratching it myself so it dosent bother me. Had a small scratch where the end of the barrel would be. Quality product, looks great and is sturdy. I would buy this product again and again. attaching lights and touch switches doesn’t decrease my ability to hold the guard firmly and solidly. And personally, I like a lower profile guard and system. The guard locks on to the nut with an incredible stiffness. This is the second slim line guard that I’ve purchased from Midwest industries.
